After purchase, click here to download the data collection tool. It is very simple to run and requires no DBA skill. This will collect diagnostics data only from your SQL Server (not any customer data in the database itself), and create a file which you upload to ProactiveSQL.com for analysis here.

Within 24 hours of receiving your diagnostics data, you will receive SQL commands to tune your environment, with explanations and instructions to execute. You will need someone on staff who knows how to connect to your SQL Server and run commands through SQL Server Management Studio.

The SQL commands are low risk, but also will come with commands to rollback any changes made, in case there are any issues. If you run into any problems running the commands, contact us and we will be happy to help.
