No data or code will be changed, only instance or database settings, statistics may be updated, or a limited number of indexes might be added, depending on the diagnostic data collected.  These are low risk changes, but scripts to undo them will also be provided in case they are suspected of causing any issues.

You have to have SQL 2005 or higher running and you have to have someone who can execute SQL scripts with admin rights against your SQL Server.

Simply request a refund within 30 days of service and it will be issued in full with no hassle.

No, but in our experience environments with little DBA attention that encounter performance issues are typically easily solved.  It makes sense to use this service as a common sense first step.

It’s a common-sense alternative to high-priced consultants or new hardware, when most SQL performance problems at shops with limited DBA resources are relatively easy to diagnose.

If you have SQL performance problems and have had no or limited DBA review of your system, then it makes sense to use this service.  If you have complex SQL Server performance problems that an army of DBAs has recently worked on, then you’re not.
